This has probaly become the no 1 spot for prostitutes in Rio that goes after tourists. It has a fantastic location on Atlantica. The ols nu 1 for this clientele was Help disco that was closed 3 years ago.
Balcony Bar is the evening chill out spot in Rio. It's up on the Leme end of the Copacabana beach. After you eat dinner head up here for the late night chill action. Pizza is good too. Best word for this place is interesting Watched the brazil Mexico match here which was an incredible spectacle as the bar was full of Mexicans.
For families this place isn't the best as its crawling with prostitutes. This was no real problem as they stick to the wealthy looking tourists, but could be a bit off putting for families. Food was surprisingly good with a wide selection. Tasty breakfast straight after a night out, open all night don't be put off by the clientel, they won't bother you unless you make eye contact!
The worst experience where staff collude with thiefs to steal your bags. Watch out when big crowds come and look for seats. Keep it far from passages and hold tight.
